COSTA MESA, California, March 13, 2023 – BenQ and ClassLink have partnered to give educators a hassle-free way to load and utilize their lesson materials for more effective interactive classes.
BenQ Corp., a global leader in display solutions for education, announced today that ClassLink—one of the world’s most widely used education resource management platforms—has been successfully integrated into the BenQ Account Management System (AMS).
ClassLink has over 18 million active users. Their service is used by over 2,400 school systems worldwide and is the official single-sign on (SSO) solution of several US states and districts. ClassLink provides teachers and their students an easy and secure way to access cloud-based educational apps, lesson files saved on their school network, as well as any cloud accounts that are bound to the service.
Integrating ClassLink with BenQ AMS removes several unnecessary layers of the sign in processes when teaching with the BenQ Board. Teachers can use ClassLink directly from their board without requiring them to open a web browser or install additional software. Teachers can simply scan their school-issued NFC card on their BenQ Board’s sensor to log in to their ClassLink account and access all their web applications and files.
“We wanted to remove all the redundant login steps for schools by allowing them to use their existing ClassLink system with our BenQ Boards,” says Claire Huang, Director of BenQ's Cloud Innovation Center and Display Solutions Department. Since ClassLink is an SSO service, the IT administrator only needs to set up the system once by importing their existing ClassLink list to the BenQ AMS. From then on, teachers do not have to worry about manually entering their ClassLink credentials every time they use their BenQ Board.
“ClassLink works with a wide assortment of edtech devices. By integrating with the BenQ Board system, we are adding another powerful teaching tool to that roster,” says Stanley Watts, ClassLink Chief Technology Officer.
