Projector Lamps FAQ
  • Can I change the projector lamp myself?

  • It is fine for users to replace the lamp on their own for all BenQ high pressure mercury lamp models.

     

    To ensure optimal performance from the projector, it is recommended that you purchase an original BenQ projector lamp replacement, otherwise you risk invalidating your warranty.

     

    Please follow the lamp indicator, lights up or pop-up messages which  indicate it is time to replace the lamp. An old lamp may cause a malfunction in the projector and in some instances the lamp may even explode.

  • What's the warranty of replacement lamp?
  • Replacement Lamp Warranty is 90 days or 500 hours from the purchase date by the customer, whicever comes first.
