In this lesson you’ll learn how to add bookmarks to your account for easy access on BenQ smart displays.

  1. Go to https://ams.benq.com/.

  2. Log in with your BenQ Account.

  3. Click on the Shortcuts tab.

  4. In the Bookmarks section you’ll find the website bookmarks you’ve saved. To add or remove bookmarks, click the Edit button.

  5. Next, you’ll find two tabs: Personal and Company. Personal bookmarks are the ones you’ve added yourself. Company bookmarks are ones that your school or institution have set up for you.

  6. There are also two ways to add bookmarks: by clicking on the Add button or the Import button.

  7. Click on the Add button and enter your bookmark’s name and the URL address of the website you’d like to link to.

  8. If you click on the Import button you’ll be prompted to import an HTML file instead. To use this method, you’ll need to export a bookmark from a web browser to your device. Let’s use Chrome as an example.

  9. Open Chrome and click the icon with three vertical dots in the top-right corner.

  10. Then hover over Bookmarks and lists. This will open a pop-up menu.

  11. Next, click Open Bookmarks manager. Clicking this will open a new tab.

  12. Then click the icon with three vertical dots in the top right corner. You will find this next to the Bookmarks search bar, under the Chrome address bar.

  13. Next, click Export bookmarks. Clicking this will open the File Explorer on a Windows computer or the Finder on a Mac computer.

  14. Finally, choose a name and destination and click Save. Chrome will export all your bookmarks as an HTML file that you can then import using AMS.

  15. To access your bookmarks on the BenQ smart display, simply navigate to the apps menu and tap on the Bookmarks tab.
