Big news from CES — NVIDIA has confirmed that a native GeForce NOW app is on its way to the Steam Deck. This upcoming release means smoother cloud gaming with support for up to 4K resolution, HDR, and 60FPS, bringing a serious visual boost to the handheld experience. RTX features will also be available in supported games, giving players even more reason to dive into AAA titles from anywhere. The app is expected to launch later this year, making high-end streaming even more accessible on the go.

GeForce NOW has made the process much easier. In desktop mode, simply go to the provided page, download the script, run it, and you’re all set!

1. Visit the download page in Desktop Mode (Steam button > Power > Switch to Desktop) 

2. Once downloaded, extract the “GeForceNOW_Setup” zip file.

3. Click and execute the script “GeForceNOW_Setup”, and click “Yes” to continue the installation.

4. You will see “GeForceNOW” in your “NON-STEAM” library.
